Veronica McDougall

Chief Executive Officer

Veronica McDougall currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of NAGL MedTech™.

For the past couple of years, Veronica has been running much of the company’s operations as Head of the Project Lifecycle Management Department (PLMT). She has used her innovative problem-solving strengths to directly lead and oversee successful cross-functional projects to deliver on business objectives.

Veronica has demonstrated a firm understanding of running a growing and profitable MedTech service business by providing exceptional client experience, expertise in medical device company management, and expertise in cost-effective medical device product development in a wide variety of medical specialties.

She brings extensive knowledge of Product and Process development and validation, Design Controls, FDA and ISO regulations, Biocompatibility and Sterilization, Regulatory Submissions, Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, Lean methodology, manufacturing, and many more.

Before joining NAGL MedTech™, Veronica spent time at SafeStitch Medical, Cordis, and Johnson and Johnson in a variety of functional roles from Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Operations/New Product Introduction, External Manufacturing, and Process Engineering. She held key positions in each team developing new product designs, manufacturing processes and test methods for advanced R&D products, documentation for design and process qualification, risk management, and manufacturing processes.

Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stetson University

Antonio Rubia

Chief Financial Officer

Antonio is the CFO of NAGL MedTech™ with over 22 years of experience providing financial services across multiple industry sectors and different continents. Antonio assisted companies through M&A, financial due diligence, and financial restructuring in different Big Four accounting firms between the US and Spain.

He provided merger and acquisition services to numerous strategic and corporate clients, financial sponsors, and public entities on buy-side and sell-side transactions providing guidance to clients through deal-related matters including financial due diligence, financial model, data room assistance, valuation services, purchase, and sale agreement reviews and analysis of closing financial statements including purchase price dispute advice. He also performed independent business reviews and technical assistance during the refinancing processes between companies and banks/lenders.

Antonio also worked in financial audit services for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Madrid, Spain. He was responsible to deliver quality audit reports, including statutory audit under local GAAP, but also MOU reports for group reporting purposes following other international GAAP and GAAS. Main clients include Interpublic Group – McCann Erickson and Universal Media (USA); Medtronic Group (USA) and Toshiba Medical Systems (JPN).

Antonio has extensive international experience across various industries, including manufacturing and industrial products, food and beverage, consumer products and retail, real estate, aviation, etc. including countries such as the US, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, and Guatemala.

Antonio holds double bachelor’s degrees in economics and Business Administration from Carlos III University in Madrid (Spain).


William Garcia de Quevedo

Sales and Marketing Director

William exudes his natural passion for pushing innovative excellence in medical device development as our Sales & Marketing Manager.

With over 16 years of industry experience, he’s well acquainted with leading multi-disciplinary teams, planning and budgeting multi-phase projects, working in various Quality Systems, preparing companies for regulatory submissions, conducting verification and validation testing, and being a client liaison to world-class companies. He has also secured several new client accounts and helped obtain FDA 510(k) regulatory clearance for a peripheral embolization device.

Prior to coming to NAGL MedTech™, William was the Senior Development Engineer for Skeletal Dynamics, where he managed a team that launched an orthopedic set for a distal elbow.

Mr. Garcia de Quevedo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Cynthia Brown

Human Resources Manager

Cynthia Brown is the Human Resources Manager here at NAGL MedTech™.

A NAGL MedTech™ veteran, who previously serviced the company between 2019 and 2021, Cynthia has the skills, practical knowledge, and on-site experience to be the key liaison for associates; both current and new.

With over 10 years of Human Resources experience, she’s well acquainted with the necessary skills in recruiting, performance management, employee training, team building, leadership development, and more, to lead the department for NAGL MedTech™.

Prior to NAGL MedTech™, Cynthia worked as a Human Resources professional within numerous different industries, gaining valuable knowledge needed to lead the department.

Cynthia has a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Florida International University.


Bill Sowers

Entrepreneur in Residence

As a medical device executive with over 20 years of experience leading the design, development, and commercialization of Class II & III devices, Bill brings a wealth of industry knowledge to the NAGL MedTech™ team.

Most recently, Bill was the COO / CTO for Genesys Spine, a spinal orthopedics company in Austin, TX. As a co-founder of Genesys, Bill initially led the Quality & Regulatory departments and personally created the company’s full Quality Management System. Bill went on to lead the Engineering and Operations departments before being named COO / CTO. Under Bill’s leadership, Genesys received 27 FDA clearances for spinal systems and brought to market over 4,000 distinct devices. In addition to his time at Genesys, Bill has led the product development of Neurovascular, Peripheral Vascular, GI, and Arthroscopic devices. His company experience ranges from large, well-established companies (Johnson & Johnson) to VC-backed start-ups (Apollo Endosurgery) as well as fully self-funded organizations.

Bill brings extensive experience in program & project management, new product development, operations, manufacturing, process development, process validation, FDA & ISO regulations, regulatory submissions, and design controls, as well as Six Sigma / Lean methodology.

Bill holds both a Master of Science in Environmental Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Engineering from Clemson University.
