Brett Naglreiter, MSME
President and CEO
Brett Naglreiter currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Naglreiter® MDDO, a leading-edge medical device development organization, and two incubated client companies, Poseydon Medical, which creates tools to improve the outcome for stroke patients, and EMBolic Acceleration, a company focused on solving the unmet vessel occlusion needs of the Interventional Radiologists.
At the helm of NAGLREITER® MDDO, Brett has been involved with the creation of products in numerous specialties such as Neurovascular, Peripheral Vascular, Cardiovascular, GI, Arthroscopy, Orthopedics, Robotic Surgery, and more. Being previously involved with Apollo Endosurgery as Co-Founder / VP of Engineering, Brett took an estimated investment of $40M and turned it into an estimated market value of $393M today via IPO. Additionally, Brett held leadership positions at both Stryker and J&J for almost a decade.
Brett has over 27 years of experience in the medical device space with companies such as Orthosensor, Motus GI, Titan Medical, Pulsar Vascular, SafeStitch Medical, TriSalus Life Sciences, Surpass Medical, Sharklet, and more, supporting multiple stages of development, fundraising, IPOs, reverse mergers, and acquisitions. As CEO of both EMBolic Acceleration and Poseydon Medical, Mr. Naglreiter has seen numerous successes in all phases of the company lifecycle.
Brett holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Medical Engineering from Clemson University.
Vice President of Systems
With over 25 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, quality assurance, and project management, Tracie is well-positioned to manage the systems and quality control functions that are critical for launching any medical device.
At NAGLREITER®, Tracie helps ensure we’re doing everything with quality assurance in mind. She brings extensive experience with Quality Management Systems, product and process development and qualification/validation, FDA and ISO regulations, Design Controls, Six Sigma, and Lean methodology.
Prior to joining NAGLREITER®, Tracie was a Quality Assurance Manager for Abbott Informatics Corp where she established a full QMS in compliance with 21 CFR 820 and ISO 13845 within six months.
Before her position with Abbott Informatics, Tracie was the Director of Quality Operations at Stryker where she supported and drove the execution of complex projects, implemented quality operations performance tracking and trending, and handled the supplier quality, calibration, plus receiving inspection for multiple facilities.
Additionally, Tracie gained a wealth of medical device experience in quality, manufacturing engineering, management, training, research & development, and supplier quality while working in her 20-year career at Boston Scientific.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Cum Laude from the University of Florida.
Chief Financial Officer
Antonio is the CFO with over 22 years of experience providing financial services to across multiple industry sectors and different continents. Antonio assisted companies through the M&A, financial due diligence, and financial restructuring in different Big Four accounting firms between US and Spain. He provided merger and acquisition services to numerous strategic and corporate clients, financial sponsors and public entities on buy-side and sell-side transactions providing guidance to clients through deal-related matters including financial due diligence, financial model, data room assistance, valuation services, purchase and sale agreement reviews and analysis of closing financial statements including purchase price dispute advice. He also performed independent business reviews and technical assistance during the refinancing processes between companies and banks/lenders.
Antonio also worked in financial audit services for PricewaterhouseCoopers in Madrid, Spain. He was responsible to deliver quality audit reports, including statutory audit under local GAAP, but also MOU reports for group reporting purposes following other international GAAP and GAAS. Main clients include Interpublic Group – McCann Erickson and Universal Media (USA); Medtronic Group (USA) and Toshiba Medical Systems (JPN).
Antonio has extensive international experience across various industries, including manufacturing and industrial products, food and beverage, consumer products and retail, real estate, aviation, etc. including countries such as, US, Spain, Mexico, Colombia, Chile, Panama, Costa Rica, Peru, Ecuador, and Guatemala.
Antonio holds double bachelor’s degrees in economics and Business Administration from Carlos III University in Madrid (Spain).
William Garcia de Quevedo
Sales and Marketing Director
William exudes his natural passion for pushing innovative excellence in medical device development as our Sales & Marketing Manager.
With over 16 years of industry experience, he’s well acquainted with leading multi-disciplinary teams, planning and budgeting multi-phase projects, working in various Quality Systems, preparing companies for regulatory submissions, conducting verification and validation testing, and being a client liaison to world-class companies. He has also secured several new client accounts and helped obtain FDA 510(k) regulatory clearance for a peripheral embolization device.
Prior to coming to NAGLREITER®, William was the Senior Development Engineer for Skeletal Dynamics, where he managed a team that launched an orthopedic set for distal elbow.
Mr. Garcia de Quevedo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Vice President of Product Development
With over 15 years of experience in the medical device space, Veronica is well equipped to head our extensive product development department. At NAGLREITER®, Veronica oversees and implements all our product development policies, objectives, and initiatives.
Throughout her tenure at NAGLREITER®, she has led over 20 projects of all sizes and medical specialties. She is an expert at understanding medical device product development complexity, implementing risk mitigations, and navigating the quality system to achieve project success. She utilizes those strengths to lead the department to achieve consistency and similar success across all projects.
She brings extensive knowledge of Product and Process development and validation, Design Controls, FDA and ISO regulations, Biocompatibility and Sterilization, Regulatory Submissions, Quality Management Systems, Six Sigma, and Lean methodology, manufacturing, and many more.
Before joining NAGLREITER® MDDO, Veronica spent time at SafeStitch Medical, Cordis, and Johnson and Johnson in a variety of functional roles from Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs, Operations/New Product Introduction, External Manufacturing, and Process Engineering. She held key positions in each team developing new product designs, manufacturing processes and test methods for advanced R&D products, documentation for design and process qualification, risk management, and manufacturing processes.
Veronica holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stetson University.
