Brett Naglreiter, MSME
Brett is at the helm of Naglreiter with over 24 years of medical device experience working with large organizations to startups. Brett has leveraged his extensive development expertise to create an industry-leading medical device development organization, which possesses the passionate expertise, professional experience, and proven processes to deliver unsurpassed medical device development services. A clear and decisive leader, Brett is known for building and leading teams, developing talent and delivering results. Over the course of his professional career, Brett has held several roles. Brett was the VP of Engineering and Interim COO for Apollo Endosurgery, Inc. – a venture-backed medical device company focused on developing flexible therapeutic surgical products. At Apollo, Brett turned an initial investment of $40M into $137M. Prior to Apollo‚ Brett served as VP of R&D and interim COO for VeinRx, Inc.‚ a venture backed medical device company developing advanced catheters for drug delivery with supporting software solutions. While at the helm of VeinRx, he managed the product development process from concept through completion. Before joining VeinRx, Inc.‚ Brett managed the completion of the LifeStent technology transfer‚ a Syntheon project for Edwards Lifesciences. Additionally, Brett served as the program manager and lead designer for both the Orbit and the Trufill Detachable Coil systems at Cordis Neurovascular. During his tenure, Cordis Neurovascular’s annual revenue grew from $5‚000‚000 to $63‚000‚000. Brett holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. He currently consults for companies across the US in various technical, strategic and leadership capacities.
With over 13 years of experience in medical engineering, quality assurance and regulatory affairs, Veronica is well positioned to manage the regulatory and quality control functions which are critical for launching any medical device. At Naglreiter, Veronica helps insure we’re doing everything with quality assurance in mind. She brings extensive experience with Quality Management Systems, product and process development and qualification/validation, FDA and ISO regulations, Regulatory Submissions, Design Controls and Six Sigma and Lean methodology. Prior to joining Naglreiter, she was a Quality Assurance Engineer for SafeStitch Medical where she was responsible for developing test methods for advanced R&D products and review/approval for design and process qualifications. Before working for SafeStich, Veronica was a Senior Engineer at Cordis Johnson & Johnson where she was responsible for ensuring manufacturing readiness in accordance with quality, regulatory and operations requirements. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Stetson University.
Deb is the Controller for Naglreiter where she is responsible for all aspects of financial reporting. Deb’s main focus is to ensure everything adds up. With over 18 years of experience as an accountant, controller and CFO, she oversees all accounting functions. Prior to joining Naglreiter, Deb was the controller for D. Lundgren & Associates, her own accounting firm, where she provided all accounting functions for small- to medium-sized companies. Prior to starting her own firm, she was the controller for Hollywood Atlantic Real Estate Group where she prepared financial statements on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for multiple types of clients. She is proficient in all the latest accounting software including QuickBooks, Spectra, Yardi, Logitch-Domain as well as Excel. Deb holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Winona State University of Minnesota.
As the Head of Project Lifecycle Management at NAGLREITER™, Craig manages the resourcing , performance, and overall customer satisfaction for all client programs including client company management and fundraising, client product specification development, client contract manufacturing, and general client consulting services. With over 28 years in the medical device field, Craig’s experience ranges from engineering, manufacturing, and clinical surgical expertise to acquisition analysis, financial management, and proven success with startups. Prior to joining NAGLREITER™, Craig was the COO at InNeuroCo where his responsibility for the overall operations included strategic planning, realigning departments to enhance efficiency, and implementing principles to meet customer expectations. Leading up to his role with InNeuroCo, Craig was a founder and General Manager of Interplex Medical responsible for all strategic initiatives including acquisitions, additionally serving as the Vice President of Research & Development heading all engineering services (product design, early stage conceptual activities, process validation testing, leading product development teams, and more). Prior to Interplex, Craig held managing partner and senior engineering roles for IDx Medical and General Dynamics where he was responsible for early stage product assessments, market trend analysis, and improving production efficiencies.
With over 32 years of experience in product development, process improvement, cost improvement, supplier management, project management, regulatory compliance and operations in medical devices Eamonn’s diverse portfolio of technical and organizational leadership makes him a perfect fit as NAGLREITER’s Head of Facilities/Equipment. Eamonn has a track record of outstanding performance as a global strategic leader, directing technical teams and projects budgeted and valued at more than $500M. Eamonn’s 15 years with Cordis Johnson & Johnson developing catheter-based products in Neurovascular, Cardio Vascular and Endovascular as well as drug eluting stents, compliments NAGLREITER’s catheter technology prowess. Prior to joining NAGLREITER, Eamonn was the program director at Stryker where he oversaw the execution of the R&D programs for the partial knee and hip segments, and the overall Mako installed base for robot assisted orthopedic surgery. Eamonn holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Florida International University.
Emmy is a Human Resources professional with over 20 years of comprehensive HR, strategic direction, HRIS implementation and management, extensive benefits management, payroll management, and effective talent acquisition experience. Her passion is providing human resource solutions to internal/external clients and ensuring compliance with company policies. Prior to joining Naglreiter, she worked for FirstBank as Vice President of Human Resources. In this role, she provided leadership in developing and executing HR strategy in support of corporate and regional business planning. Before her role at FirstBank, she was the Sr. Human Resources Manager for TissueTech, Inc. where she coordinated HR policies and programs to ensure the company’s full compliance with applicable laws & regulations, and managed all other human resource functions in a multi-site manufacturing environment. Emmy holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Human Resources Management from Barry University.
William Garcia de Quevedo
William exudes his natural passion for pushing innovative excellence in medical device development as our Sales & Marketing Manager. With over 16 years of industry experience, he’s well acquainted with leading multi-disciplinary teams, planning and budgeting multi-phase projects, working in various Quality Systems, preparing companies for regulatory submissions, conducting verification and validation testing, and being a client liaison to world-class companies. He has also secured several new client accounts and helped obtain FDA 510(k) regulatory clearance for a peripheral embolization device. Prior to coming to NAGLREITER, William was the Senior Development Engineer for Skeletal Dynamics, where he managed a team that launched an orthopedic set for distal elbow. Mr. Garcia de Quevedo holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
